How Los Angeles Epoxy Flooring Pros Works

Los Angeles Epoxy Flooring Pros coats concrete with resin systems: garage floors, patios, pool decks, interior slabs, workshops and commercial floors in Los Angeles and its neighboring cities. Our lineup covers epoxy, flake broadcast, polyaspartic, metallic and commercial-grade systems, and we pick one only once the slab has been inspected and tested.

One recipe does not fit every floor in Los Angeles. Near the beach, a garage can sit in damp morning air through much of late spring; out in the west Valley, the same kind of garage might bake in triple-digit heat in September. Slabs poured during the postwar building boom tend to show earthquake and shrinkage cracks, old paint or decades of oil. Every one of those details shifts the prep, the primer and the topcoat, so we sort it out at your property and write it down.

How we work

  • We visit, measure the space and take a moisture reading on the concrete.
  • We check for oil, paint, old sealers, cracks, chipped joints, low spots and water stains.
  • We say straight out whether a crack only needs cosmetic repair or should be evaluated before anything is coated.
  • Your written quote spells out the system, every coat, each prep step and the total price.
  • We diamond grind the slab so the resin grips clean, porous concrete.
  • Cracks and broken joints get filled ahead of the first coat.
  • Ahead of every coat we read air temperature, slab temperature, humidity and dew point, and we reschedule if conditions are off.
  • We give you walk-on, move-back-in and parking times that reflect the product used and that day's weather.
  • If removing the old coating reveals more work, we write up the change and hold off until you approve it.

What we do not do

Concrete is the only surface we coat; wood, tile and vinyl are outside our work. When a slab has an issue no coating can solve, like water seeping in during winter storms, an active crack or a heaved section, you hear about it from us before you put money into a new floor.

Renters, condo owners and HOA members should check approval rules ahead of the install date. We can supply the products, colors and schedule in writing for a landlord or board.
